About PRT

What is PRT?

Positional Release Therapy (PRT), also known as strain-counterstrain or tender point release, is a hands-on technique used to relieve muscle tension, pain, and spasms.

The therapy is pain-free and is suited for all ages and most painful conditions. The primary goal of PRT is to promote a positive healing environment by correcting musculoskeletal and neurological imbalances to facilitate tissue regeneration, growth, and repair for the body to self-correct itself.

How does it work?

Our staff find tender points or areas of tightness in your muscles, joints, or tissues. Then they gently position your body or limb in a specific way that puts less strain on those areas. This positioning helps release tension and reduce pain. It's finding a comfortable position that allows your body to relax and heal itself naturally.
